Brewery AV Project
One owner having worked in the audio industry for many years requested Sonos for his new brewery in Maynard. Sonos was chosen for their ease of use and because he had used them in other restaurants. One would be used to play music in the main bar and seating area. Two more are used to play music in each of the two private function rooms. The entire system is powered by an Ashly amplifier. This distributes the audio to all the zones with appropriate volume levels. Crestron surface mount and pendulum mounted speakers were used throughout. Even at full capacity sound fills the restaurant evenly.
Video distribution was handled by 2 HDMI switchers and routed to 6 TVs over the bar. Video could also be sent to 2 more TVs in each of the function rooms.
A simple remote control was programmed to power on all the TVs. It also controlled all the cable boxes back in the equipment closet. Volume control and music genre is selected using the Sonos app on the managers phone or tablet.
